From Apes to Cowboys.
Sunday ! Just like every weekends, i would always try my best to rest at home during the off days from work.
The darl and I decided to head out to Mid Valley for movie after strolling along Tropicana area. We even took the LRT stopping at Abdullah Hukum that seems to be DEAD - from what darl and I noticed , no ones comes in or goes out from this particular station.
Well, we thought it would be closer to Mid Valley.. We were wrong - the whole Mid Valley mall looks closer from the station; what's wrong, it started to rain. Lucky enough, we managed to stop a cab or else.. well, you know. Drenched wet.
First movie we watched was the chimps movie; Rise of The Planet of the Apes ! We delayed watching that since it was released, we finally watched it and I' say it's a good movie. You'll love Caeser the ape. We missed out the first 10 minutes due to having our late brunch at 4.30pm -ish .
How vain he is. I'm wearing his shades. |
he's so cool with my shades ! |
what's the story about? Here's some storyline;
An origin story set in present day San Francisco, where man's own experiments with genetic engineering lead to the development of intelligence in apes and the onset of a war for supremacy.
That's the first movie for the day. The darling needed to work the night @ 8pm. While waiting for him till he's off work, I decided to ran towards to KLCC to catch another movie; alone. Pretty sad, isnt it? :)
2nd movie was Cowboys&Aliens starring Mr.James Bond a.k.a Daniel Craig and my all-time favourite actor, Harrison Ford! Always been a fan of Indiana Jones, he's still that toughie old man! In the movie, he's that tough looking taiko but with a soft heart with all the Testosterone. :D
Do know the little boy actor is the main actor from Avatar : The :Last Air bender if you notice.
Storyline for Cowboys&Aliens ;
The Old West.. where a lone cowboy leads an uprising against a terror from beyond our world. 1873. Arizona Territory. A stranger with no memory of his past stumbles into the hard desert town of Absolution. The only hint to his history is a mysterious shackle that encircles one wrist. What he discovers is that the people of Absolution don't welcome strangers, and nobody makes a move on its streets unless ordered to do so by the iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Ford). It's a town that lives in fear. But Absolution is about to experience fear it can scarcely comprehend as the desolate city is attacked by marauders from the sky. Screaming down with breathtaking velocity and blinding lights to abduct the helpless one by one, these monsters challenge everything the residents have ever known. Now, the stranger they rejected is their only hope for salvation. As this gunslinger slowly starts to remember who he is and where he's been...
Went home a little scared from KLCC. *runs*
