That's Mary Quant for you.

Mary Quant is a British fashion designer and icon. Famous for inventing the miniskirt, her outrageous fashion sense caused the mini skirt sensation during the late 1950's all over the world and by 1966, she launched Mary Quant Cosmetics.

MANOAH invited us 20 bloggers (including yours truly here) for an exclusive MQC make-up workshop session last Sunday with it's official MUA from Tokyo, Japan, Miss Nobuko Takiki.

"More colors!", that's Miss Takiki's favourite line. ;D

Always apply base before applying make-up (that's rule #1, ALWAYS);

Oil Zap this base provides a dry, matte finish, as if you have applied powder. It controls shine preventing makeup from coming off. It gives the skin a fine and soft texture by covering up the pores.

Moisture Zap provides high moisturizing and helps makeup last longer. This make-up base enhances blood circulation maintaining bright skin and the skin looks naturally smooth and firm.

Eye Gloss Treatment Eye Foundation , apply adequate amount on to cover dark circles and dullness before any cream shadow or powder shadow for better color enhancement and keeps your eyes hydrated. I'm using #01 Light Beige.

Next, the Mary Quant Smoo Make Powder Foundation . Comes with 8 difference shades, this highly moisturizing powder foundation controls the light and creates the ideal skin color, texture and 3 dimensional appearance. The foundation gently covers visible pores and dull skin color, thus creating radiant firm and smooth skin. I'm using #06 Tan.

Apply Mary Quant's Loose Face Powder to make your skin appear brighter and fine textured. The velvety corpuscular powder makes pores and fine lines less noticeable. It prevents makeup from running and provides a long lasting beautiful finish.

No girls wants a running make-up, right? ;)

Coloring time.

Eye Opener (Powder Eye Shadows) & Blush Baby (Powder Cheek Blush) - Funky colors to choose and play with.

Action Lashing *whips sound effect*, anti fading and waterproof. Comes with 7 different colors, it has two sides of different function; the Coil and Chip Brush features short, raised bristles meanwhile the Oil Gel Formula volumes and lengthen your eye lashes.

Brow Line , need a brow? Mary Quant's Brow Line gives a soft and natural finish. I'm using #02 Chestnut Brown, same as the one applied on my fellow blogger, Christine in the picture above.

I'm using Out Line (Color Pencil) in Black for my eye lines. Did you know MQ's Out Line can be use as a lip liner too? There's 20 varieties of colors to choose.
