Based on the best-selling novel by Yann Martel published in 2001, is a magical adventure story centering on Piscine Molitor "Pi" Patel (Suraj Sharma), the precocious son of a zoo keeper. Dwellers in Pondicherry, India, the family decides to move to Canada, hitching a ride on a huge freighter.
After a shipwreck, Pi finds himself adrift in the Pacific Ocean on a 26-foot lifeboat with a zebra, a hyena, an orangutan and a 450-pound Bengal tiger named Richard Parker, all fighting for survival.
It is highly recommended to watch Life of Pi in 3D as the movie was commented to be the greatest 3D movie ever since Avatar.
The effects of the movie were great as you are not able to tell which animal is real or it's computer generated.
Aside of the great visual, Life of Pi is an amazing story.
Surviving from a shipwreck with a Tiger is somewhat unique, the emotions were very touching. Suraj Sharma as Pi did a great performance in his act. Throughout the movie, most of it in the sea.
I'll give a rating of 9/10 as the movie is a great must-watch for all ages.
Make your way to cinema if you have not seen Life of Pi yet. I would pay to watch this movie thrice. :)
